Append a trip-end note when CarPlay disconnects

When CarPlay disconnects, append a simple trip-end line with the current date/time to a chosen note.

CarPlay Disconnect provides the post-drive trigger; date formatting plus Append to Note creates a lightweight log.

How to do it

    Create the automation

    Create Automation.

    Choose the trigger

    Choose CarPlay → Disconnects.

    Add the actions

    Get and format the current date/time.

    Configure details

    Append the formatted trip-end text to the selected note.

    Save and test

    Save and test after disconnect.
