Set up an alternate Face ID appearance

STEPS

How to do it

  1. 1

    Open Face ID settings

    Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and enter your passcode.

  2. 2

    Start an alternate appearance

    Tap Set Up an Alternate Appearance.

  3. 3

    Scan your face

    Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the Face ID scans.

When you are done

You are done when the alternate appearance setup finishes.

Good to know

This requires an iPhone with Face ID. The option may not appear if an alternate appearance is already configured.
