STEPS
How to do it

Open a reference photo
Open a photo in Photos that was captured with Reference mode data.

Develop the reference image
Tap Reference at the top of the photo. If needed, the reference image is developed when an internet connection is available.

View the reference
Tap Reference to compare the unedited reference image, or open the Reference Image Data view.
When you are done
Done.
