Turn notifications on or off for one app

Change Allow Notifications for a specific app.

Use the same settings screen whether you want to stop notifications or turn them back on.

When this helps

The app must support notifications.

How to do it

Open the app settings

Go to Settings > Apps, then tap the app whose notifications you want to change.

Change Allow Notifications

Tap Notifications, then turn Allow Notifications on or off as desired.

When you are done

You are done when Allow Notifications is in the state you want.

Good to know

If Notifications does not appear for an app, that app may not be able to send notifications.
