Change an app’s Photos access

Review and change which apps can access your photo library.

Stop photo access for apps that do not need it, or allow access for apps you trust.

Review Photos permissions from Privacy & Security.

STEPS

How to do it

  1. 1

    Open Photos privacy settings

    Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.

  2. 2

    Choose the app

    Tap the app whose Photos access you want to change.

  3. 3

    Choose the access level

    Choose the Photos access level you want from the options shown.

When you are done

You are done when the selected app has the Photos access level you want.

Good to know

The list shows apps that have requested Photos access. Available access levels can vary by app and iOS state.
