Turn Low Power Mode on or off

Reduce background activity and power use with Low Power Mode.

Use Apple’s built-in power-saving mode when you need the battery to last longer.

When this helps

Open Battery settings and set Low Power Mode the way you want.

STEPS

How to do it

  1. 1

    Open Battery settings

    Go to Settings > Battery.

  2. 2

Use the path for your model

On iPhone 15 and later, tap Power Mode. On iPhone 14 and earlier, skip this step.

  3. 3

    Change Low Power Mode

Turn Low Power Mode on or off as desired.

When you are done

You are done when the Low Power Mode state is reflected, such as a yellow battery icon when enabled.

Good to know

On iPhone 15 and later, open Power Mode inside Battery. On iPhone 14 and earlier, Low Power Mode appears directly in Battery. Some features and background activity are limited while it is on.
