See your current iOS version and whether a software update is available.

Go to Settings > General > Software Update.

Start the update if needed

If an update is available, tap Download and Install and follow the onscreen instructions. If iOS is current, no further action is needed.

When you are done

You are done when the screen says iOS is up to date or shows an available update.
