How to do it

Open People & Pets
In Photos, open Collections → People & Pets.

Choose a person or pet
Tap the person or pet you want to name. If they are missing, check Add People near the bottom.

Enter a name
Tap Name This Person or Name This Pet, then enter the name.

Save the name
Review the name, then tap Done.
When you are done
Done.
